stockings and cats

Laurel here is the stockings I was talking about. I think I am going to do the dog one for Pete, John's brother.

Here is my Bubba cat .....he kills me the way he just flops down on the arm of the couch. LOL

Small Santa Exchange

This is the santa I received from Teresa in the Prairie Schooler group I am in. I love it and can not wait to hang it. I am sorry to see summer come to a close though but I like fall too and am anxiously awaiting football season and the race to the chase in NASCAR. Laurel I know that you can't wait for snow.

Another Santa and the train stocking

Well in addition to the SB stocking I started I am also going to do the Train stocking again. Then I have to get more fabric for more stockings. I have scoured my fabric stash...yeah Laurel I know that's a stretch but I did and I have no more 18 count so I have also managed to get all my #5 perle cotton into one spot. So I am hoping for a quiet holiday week end of stitching and watching races or ball games and stitch stitch stitching till my fingers fall off.

Only a 4 yr old would say this.....

Today his mother and i go to the court house to pay taxes and while we are there we inquire about what is needed to get married since her and john are going to do that probably next month. After getting this info we head to the elevator to leave and 3 cops show up with 5 inmates in shackles and hand cuffs....they ask us to move over by the wall so they can pass. I have the baby with me and so I take him over to the corner and as they walk past little john says " you guys are going to jail!" the front two inmates start laughing. I am cracking up and Aimee is going what's so funny? she didn't hear him. So I told her and she couldn't get over it. Boy did we laugh.

another one bites the dust.

Mia's stocking is finished...all it needs is charms and will be taken to the finisher tomorrow. I just love it. not sure what is up next but I am staying on stocking task so it will be another stocking.

A Productive morning

Above is the project aimee is working on and she picked out a new project for her sister for Christmas and I sent her home with some of that lovely fabric with those man made holes laurel. I also showed her the looping method. So she took movies and the VCR for the boys and I hope she is going to go home and stitch.

This is my youngest daughter Aimee. She came over to stitch this morning with her mommy. Bubba cat wanted to visit and be petted but he forgets she is allergic to him. He was trying to be a helpful cat and stitch with her but alas no.

Stash and News

I was very good at being a very bad girl today. I SO wanted to go and pick up the two stockings that are back from the finisher but I thought after 115.00 in one shop and 60.00 in the other I really shouldn't push it. I need to go back to work.

The Log House lady was toaking today about models and I offered to stitch little ones for here for shop credit. It will at least help a little. so when I go over on Tuesday she will have the goodies for me to stitch the 2008 Prairie Schooler Santa.

It's looking like a Mia Stocking!!!

Shepherds bush stockings are a real work of art I just love them. I have been stitching since 7:30am. the kitty's have taken turns laying by me..supervising I guess. Short of the beads and charms everything from the zig zag line is finished.

Crap!

Total change of plans.... apparently the weather was bad up on the lake and they are on their way home. geezz I can't catch a break. oh well back to stitching.

A New Craft

Laurel came over to my house last night and stayed and we crocheted. I am relearning this craft I learned when I was a child. Thanks Laurel. We had such fun staying up late and stitching and watching tv. My husband went to Lake Erie with his son and will be back tomorrow night some time. I am so enjoying just sitting around and watching what I want and eating if I want or not. NO COOKING. just snacking and hanging out.

Laurel says I have a cute house and too much stash. there is no such thing as too much. oh well I am watching nascar and stitching.

News

Here we have Captain Morgan and his crew john and pete. they were target shooting. yippee.

In service is like a training session. we got out a little early but I had to wake up early and I wanted to sleep in.

Angelina doesn't have to go on medicine for the seizures. It seems infections set them off ...first time she had an ear infection second time it was a bladder infection. So hopefully I will get in some stitchin this afternoon and evening. I love how this one is turning out, so cute.

Finally!

Here is Mia's stocking so far. it's supposed to rain today so maybe I can get in some stitching. I'm pissed about this damn inservice that I am not getting paid for. I hate wasting 4 hours of time for nothing when I could be stitching.
