Back to the stockings

Gotta get back to those stockings. I did start Mia's yesterday but then the grandkids came over and that was that for the stitching. hopefully today.

I agree to watch the kids---so Chrissy can go to a funeral and grandpa gets to do stuff with them...I'm liking this. they went back to the woods. Pictured by the wood pile is Don, Jason, Angelina, Christopher and cocoa dog. that is our heating wood pile they are standing by.

Jillian's Stocking.

I am prepping the fabric for this one and it is going to Mia my youngest grand daughter in Florida. I just have to get the bead pack. Petra, I had Wyatt's stocking already done I just added the name. LOL and I told them if they change there mind's too bad. HA!!! all I need for that one is the buttons, looks like a trip to Cleveland. If I were patient? is that spelled right? I could get my local lady to order them for me but I'm not.

No Hocus Pocus Progress BUT.............

Here is the new grandbabies stocking. They decided on Wyatt Jackson for a name so I can live with that I guess they shook hands on it so I stitched it on there...Now I just need to order the buttons and then this one can go to the finisher too.

Hocus Pocus Progress

Well here is my progress so far...I was hoping to get further but I got sidetracked some today. Hopefully I will get in a good day tomorrow and maybe get it finished.

It's the new Hocus Pocus. I am taking a small break from stockings. I am hoping to stitch all day, it's supposed to rain.

She is a bit spoiled. I am hoping for a good stitching day today....well maybe if I don't sleep till noon. it's supposed to be hot the next three days. yuck!!

Stitching news and other stuff

So far so good with the heat I don't think it got as hot as it was supposed to and I have been drinking water and sitting under the fans and lo and behold wouldn't ya know I found another stocking I want to stitch this one is a Drawn Thread. I think I am going to do stockings for Jason and Chrissy too. Don is still working and it looks cloudy like it is thinking about raining, but nothing yet. The race is on tonight and so it will be some good stitching time.

I did some running with aimee this morning with 11:00am when she came over and woke my lazy butt up. I rearranged my back porch and am getting it situated for some hot summer stitching. pictures later.

Angelina's Stocking is Done!!!!!!!

WOW I am impressed with this one. I have to get the charm it is on order and then it can go to the finisher. the one I did for Jason is already there I dropped it off yesterday. I showed it to Chrissy and her mom and they both LOVE it. I am so glad.

We are not doing a whole lot around here........I hope. He did say something about a party or something. yuck, I would rather stay home and stitch so I am hoping for rain. is that wrong? oh well it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. Aimee was just here she was on her way to work and she is hoping for a slow day. She said it was crazy yesterday. off to stitch... this is not a good week my youngest son called last night to at 2:45am to tell me that the lady he lives with , my friend in florida debbie had a small stroke. this is a shitty week and I will be glad when it's over. Hey Laurel...you behave over there with your health and don't be pulling no funny stuff, and tell Jamie to have that baby we need some good news.

Progress on LK Stocking

I am working on the LK Angel Stocking and waiting for Don to get home. I have dinner ready and I have been stitching some this afternoon on the stocking and I was going to watch the game but will have to wait a while longer since they are on rain delay. I hope my thread gets here tomorrow so I can get the dress done ......it's absolutely amazing how much thread one can have and not have the number the chart calls for. Oh well.

when it rains....

it pours....angelina, our grandaughter had a seizure this morning and they are at the hospital now with her. I had gone to run some errands this morning and when I came home my daughter aimee was here and she was mad at John so she stayed over her most of the day. what a day.... no stitching yet.
